Hi there, I’m Ashley McCracken, the Adult Career Readiness, Self-Advocacy, and CCIR instructor at employU. I’m originally from Asheville, North Carolina but have been residing in Orlando since 2018. I have worked in Supported Employment in multiple capacities for the past seven years and have really enjoyed the opportunity to teach and connect with our clients.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Appalachian State University in 2015 and went on to receive my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Central Florida in 2019. I am currently working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and am currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the State of Florida. I am on track to receive my LCSW in March of 2023.

My areas of expertise include mental health counseling, crisis management, treatment planning, and self-advocacy/career readiness.
