We have a very fun opportunity coming up in which we need about 5-7 volunteers! The Dreamplex is one of this year’s charities to receive proceeds from the Amazing Race for Charity, being held Saturday April 6th. As part of this event, we must have an “obstacle” station that participants of the race must stop at and complete the obstacle before moving on. We will have a few adaptive sports challenges for them to complete at our station. We must provide the volunteers for this station in order to receive our share of the proceeds. So by volunteering you will be directly assisting in raising money for the Dreamplex and raising awareness of adaptive sports.
The event will be held the morning of April 6th in Eustis. We will need to be there by 8:30-9:30 am (an exact time will be given closer to the date) and we should be finished up around noon. We can carpool/caravan that morning from the Dreamplex. High-schoolers are welcome to volunteer for this! If you are interested in volunteering, please email me directly no later than March 8th with your t-shirt size.
You may sign up to volunteer after this date, but if you do so you may end up with a t-shirt that doesn’t fit you very well.
